This January, our Outreach Committee has offered to provide anyone who is hungry a free meal on Wednesday night at 6:00.  They are taking seriously the call to feed Christ’s sheep, and there will be ample food for any and all.  This will be taking place the first three Wednesdays in

January (The 4th, 11th and 18th), so join us for a free meal!  There will also be a short, 5-10 minute devotional given by Rev. Jones

Come join us for a service of Lessons & Carols at 7:00 on Christmas Eve.

Then, we invite you to return to church the next morning at 10:45 to celebrate Christmas by worshiping the Savior at our informal 10:45 Christmas day service.  We will be serving communion, remembering that the Christ who comes as the babe in the manger is the same Christ who hung upon the cross, who rose from the grave, that we may have eternal life.

The church office will be closed on December 26 and January 2.

On Thursday, December 15 @ 8:00 in the sanctuary we’ll be celebrating the gift of music while also lifting up the opportunity to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world through the vitally important work of Living Waters for the World.  Please plan to join us for this–the music will be incredible, and it’s a chance to join in with what God is doing in the world.

Come join us this Saturday for our annual Trunk or Treat!  It’s a safe, fun to celebrate Halloween.  There will be plenty of treats for the kids and hot dogs and drinks for the adults!  We’ll be here from 11-1, so drop in anytime!

Wednesday Night Suppers are back. Starting Wednesday, September 28 we’ll be back to our weekly routine–supper is at 6:00 ($4/person, $15/family maximum), study is at 6:45. Come and join us for this wonderful evening!

It’s that time of the  year again!  Join us on Tuesday, August 16 as we journey to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank to pack Sack Packs for the school kids in the area.  We’ll be there from 9-11, and you’re welcome to carpool from the church at 8:45.

New Hope’s involvement with Living Waters for the World stretches back years.  The past two years, we’ve sent mission teams to Honduras.  This year, we have the chance to be a part of something a little closer to home.  We’ve signed on with Living Waters Appalachia, and so we’re looking to install a system within the next two months.  If you are interested in being a part of this, please speak with Lloyd following worship this coming Sunday.  (7/24)  If you can’t be at worship, please call him, or the church office, to let him know of your interest.  We have a unique opportunity to be God’s hands and feet in this world, and be part of a solution!
